Display What You Know

Never had it been a better time to showcase portions of your history and biography collections than now. With in-coming President Obama being compared to both Lincoln and FDR, it's a great time to display books about past presidents and schedule book discussions around this topic. There are so many people passionate right now about this recent election and anxious to talk about their preceptions that public libraries have the opportunity to facilitate these discussions. This is also a great opportunity for inter-generational programming. Seniors from your community can add a historical perspective whileyoung adults can share their insights on what compelled them to vote in this election.
